It is important to service gas burning fireplaces annually, for both safety reasons and to ensure it is running at peak performance. Our annual service and cleaning includes the following:
- Overall fireplace inspection.
- Cleaning of firebox and glass.
- Check electrical supply and connections in fireplace.
- Clean and check blower operation.
- Visual inspection of fireplace and components for abnormal wear, cracks and damage.
- Check all safety systems of unit.
- Check all seals and gaskets.
- Check for gas leaks.
- Adjustment of components if needed for proper operation as per manufacturer specifications.
- Written report of findings.
- Replacement of low voltage wall switch if needed. White Toggle or Decorator switch supplied only.
- Any additional parts and labour required beyond above scope would be assessed and quotation provided.
